As a new week begins, I hope your spirits begin to brighten after this difficult seven days. BT Basketball has a few updates that we want to make sure you are aware of.

–This past Saturday, BT Basketball opened up the Sparta PAL Center to host a free clinic/open gym. In an effort to allow the kids to spread their wings after being couped up for so long (most without power), we were thrilled to have 80 kids come through the door! It was clear that the kids needed to let off some steam (and clear the parents needed a break as well!). We did drills, competitions, and played games. A great time and welcome smiles had by all!

Teacher’s Convention Clinic Update

Due to the storm, as you all know, school has been out of session. From the latest information, there are many districts that will be cancelling this week’s upcoming Teacher’s Convention on November 8th and 9th in order to make up for lost time. As of now, this is not official, but it certainly looks to be heading in that direction. If that is the case, the 3rd Annual BT Basketball Teacher’s Convention Clinic will obviously have to be postponed. THIS CLINIC WILL STILL TAKE PLACE, JUST ON A DIFFERENT DATE. We are preliminarily looking at Saturday the 10th as a makeup date. Nothing is set in stone as of yet, but just wanted to give you all a heads up.This clinic is open to boys and girls from 3rd-9th grade. Many have already signed up, so rest assured we will still have the clinic. Please stay tuned to www.brianthomasbasketball.com as well as the BT Basketball Facebook and Twitter page for updates. As soon as we know what the schools have decided, we will pass along when this clinic will take place. In the meantime, please click here for the REGISTRATION FORM
