Hey guys,
Here is the 3rd installment of the Zach, Radz and BT Series. If you haven’t yet seen the first two videos, just simply scroll down below this one, check them out, and then come on back. You won’t want to miss the other ones.

In this section of the workout we created a 3 man shooting drill. Using two balls, one player makes a self pass and simply shoots. A 2nd player starts underneath the basket and passes it to the 3rd player. The 2nd player attempts to block the shot of the 3rd player. From there, we had a simple rotation so everyone went in each position.
Keys to this drill…
-The self passer must turn and square shoulders to the basket each time in order to shoot properly.
-The passer must deliver a perfect pass to the shoot. There is no defense, so it’s a great opportunity to practice your passing here.
-The passer must make a real attempt to block the shot. Go hard and provide REAL, game like resistance.
-The shoot must catch and shoot quickly. In the first segment of the drill, the shooter cannot ball fake. He must shoot before he gets his shot blocked. Again, game like intensity.
-Finally, all three players must communicate where they are on the court, as well as who is passing the ball to who.

In the 2nd part of the video, we added a shot fake into a pull up jump shot. All the same principles apply as before, just add a game like shot fake, take one dribble, quickly pull up. You’re goal here is to get your shot off quickly without fading.
