I have been the head boys basketball coach at Jefferson Township High School for the past 27 years. I feel the key to my coaching longevity is surrounding myself with people I can trust. Brian Thomas is one of those people. For the past 11 years, Brian has been a staple in the pre-season and post season development of Jefferson Basketball players. I encourage my players to work with Brian. He is a great Coach and a better human being. It is common to see Brian traveling around to different summer league games to watch and support his players. This act of support does not go unnoticed. Brian is not only interested in the player he is interested in the person. I am excited to have a new group of players attend BT’s spring season. I know they will be in good hands. They will learn to play the game the right way and they will also learn life lessons.

Joe DiGennaro, Jefferson Boys Head Basketball Coach

As a high school coach in Sussex County for the past 20 years, I can say without hesitation that I would recommend playing AAU with Brian Thomas. If you are looking to take your game to the next level then you have to play in the off season. Many of our best players from High Point have played with BT Basketball over the years. When it came time to choose an AAU program for my own daughter to play with, we chose BT Basketball. I have seen BT’s practices first hand, he is working on many of the same drills we do with our high school players and the gym is packed with the best players from all of the area high schools!

Jesse Strehl, High Point Boys Head Basketball Coach

I would recommend BT Basketball to my players due to the high level of training by BT himself and great coaching from BT, local high school coaches and players as well. It is a great opportunity for my players to play together competitively which is so important, especially when preparing for high school. BT has put together a great brand of basketball that I am so happy to be a part of and would highly recommend it.

Kristina Danella, Sparta Girls Head Basketball Coach

It is hard to believe that I have known Brian Thomas for the better part of 30 years. As a basketball player growing up in Sussex County, I had the great fortune to not only compete with Brian on the hardwood but also as a youth call him a teammate. Brian was the player that most of us modeled ourselves after due to the fact that not only was he extremely talented, but also that he had a work ethic that around here was very rarely equaled. He played the game the right way and was respected by all of those who competed against him.

As a coach and facilitator of BT Basketball clinics and teams, Brian has brought that same approach that made him so respected as a player. Not only does Brian coach his players to play the game the right way on the court but also how to handle themselves off it. Over the course of the past 20 seasons, I have had the fortune to serve as the head coach of Sparta High School boys basketball program. In that time, I have had a great number of players who have worked out with and played for Coach Thomas. Each of those players not only carries themselves on the court with an advanced knowledge of the game but also with a maturity both in and outside of the lines.

Brian is a big part of a great tradition of Sparta basketball. He provides young boys and girls who have a desire to play, with a forum to not only showcase their skills but also to improve upon them. He takes on this task, with a love and respect for the game that makes all those who have had the chance to work with him, appreciate him even more. We are lucky as a basketball community to have someone so passionate and dedicated to not just a game, but an opportunity for kids to develop both skills to make them better players as well as better kids.

Brian Brennan, Sparta Boys Head Basketball Coach

Brian has created an exceptional basketball program here in Northwest, NJ.  From the youth levels all the way up to elite high school players, BT has fostered a real sense of community and dedication to fundamentals that keep players coming back.  In fact, when it was time to find a program for my own daughter, we went straight to Brian. If you are looking for your child to learn the game from someone with an impressive basketball resume and dedication to the game, look no further.

Mike Herzenberg, Parsippany Hills Head Boys Basketball Coach

If you are looking to improve your game and enjoy playing basketball, you need to participate in BT spring AAU and any clinics Brian has. He is the absolute best! So many of my players have benefited from BT Basketball. One current example: Jackie Schels. She has worked with Brian for many years and has developed into one of the best players in the state currently ranked 3rd in scoring (30 PPG), 3rd in blocks (5.8 bpg), and 16th in rebounds (13 rpg). That’s in the entire state! That doesn’t happen by chance. Brian has been a big part of her development. So many players have benefited from his programs. I strongly urge anyone who loves this game to make your way to BT Basketball this spring. Brian is the best!  Sincerely, Earl Hornyak Head Girls Basketball coach Wallkill Valley RHS.

Earl Hornyack, Wallkill Valley Head Girls Basketball Coach

Coach Brian and his staff provide the best services in our region for athletes of all ages to take their game to the next level. As a varsity head coach, finding a quality program for your athletes to go to in the off-season is one of our biggest priorities. Our program would not be where it is today without the help of Coach Brian and all of the work he has put in with our student-athletes over the years. His level of knowledge when it comes to basketball skills training, coaching philosophy, and ability to develop relationships with players is top notch. Whether you are an experienced player or brand new to the sport, Coach Brian and his staff will have a spot for you. If you’re in the North Jersey area and want to become a better player, get over to BT Basketball and do not think twice about it. Your skills will improve dramatically and so will your overall performance on the court.

Connor Healy, Vernon Boys Head Basketball Coach

This offseason, my players dedicated themselves to Brian Thomas basketball training, undergoing a transformation that has significantly elevated their skills. Through rigorous drills, personalized coaching, and a commitment to improvement, they’ve emerged as more confident, skilled, and strategic players on the court. Brian Thomas training has undoubtedly played a pivotal role in their remarkable development, showcasing their abilities and enhanced performance this season on the court.

Andrew Carbone, Sussex Tech Head Boys Basketball Coach

Our Spring teams are based around one thing, and one thing only.

Improvement.

Our practices are designed to allow the individual player to improve their skill set in all areas of the game. But that isn’t all. Additionally, we teach players how to properly play the game of basketball. Knowing that the ultimate goal for most players is to excel at the high school level, or continue on to college, we give players the tools to succeed in any system. Combining skill enhancement and game knowledge leads to fulfilled potential. We do this in a way that encourages players to get out of their comfort zone in order to learn and grow. Efficient practices. Knowledgeable and experienced coaches. Hard work in the proper atmosphere and environment. That’s our proven recipe. Come join the thousands of northern New Jersey players who have benefitted from that same recipe, including many of the best players to ever come through our area.

We look forward to another amazing Spring with returning and new players alike!
