Hey guys,
Work is the bottom line to getting better. You have to have a dedication about you that is simply unwavering. I remember back in high school everyone would be going out partying. Instead of joining them, I decided to hit the gym and get my work in. Jumpers, ballhandling drills, defensive slides. Whatever it took. It wasn’t abnormal for me to be in the gym until 3am. Loser? Stange? Sure, say what you’d like. But I had goals, and nothing would stop me from reaching them At 5 foot 9 and 160 pounds, I needed every advantage I could get. Besides, I wanted to be a star on the court, not on the dance floor. You don’t have to do the same thing, that was just me.

Quick challenge for you today. I used to work out by shooting “x” amount of shots. At some point I realized that simply shooting wouldn’t make me any better, it was making shots that would lead to improvement. So, by the end of this weekend, who can MAKE 200 jump shots. I challenge you to post to the comment section below that you have completed this. I know you CAN do this. The question is whether you WILL do this…
